The yodeling festival in Altstätten also received a top mark.
The Castellgrande competition in Bellinzona on September 6th and 7th is already behind us. Alphorn bim Gogel, along with Anna, Regina, and Urs, had a truly memorable experience at the festival: the alphorn competition at the castle, our trio performance, Anna's solo, the wonderful music, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere.
Thank you so much for the excellent organization and all the musical highlights. If it works out, we'll be back in Bellinzona in 2026.
At the yodeling festival in Altstätten, the trio Alphorn bim Gogel once again achieved outstanding results. Anna Rudolf von Rohr, Regina Lüdin, and Urs Keigel received the top mark of 1 for their alphorn piece from St. Antoni.
In addition, Anna Rudolf von Rohr and Borloz Christopher also achieved the top grade of 1 with the world premiere of the piece “Späretweg”, composed by Borloz Christopher.
Regina Lüdin at Seebärgsee, with a work by Schmid Lukas, and Urs Keigel with "Sehnsucht nach dä Berge" by Eugen Fenner, received the good grade 2.
We are very proud of our excellent presentations and the confirmation of the top ratings in the trio!

Success at the yodeling festival in Reigoldswil: Alphorn trio bim Gogel once again awarded top marks.
The Alphorn Trio bim Gogel, consisting of Anna Rudolf von Rohr, Regina Lüdin, and Urs Keigel, once again impressed at this year's yodeling festival in Reigoldswil, earning the top mark of 1. Their impressive performance of the piece "Von St. Antoni" was highly praised and awarded the highest rating.
We are proud to have once again confirmed our performance and are delighted with this fantastic result. It gives us great pleasure to play the alphorn as a trio and experience musical highlights together. This success motivates us to continue with passion and dedication!
Alphorn bim Gogel
The Gogel Alphorn Trio was founded in 2020 and has since become a well-established name in alphorn music. The name "Gogel" refers to a picturesque viewpoint above Hemmiken in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, which is also our rehearsal space. Here we meet regularly to cultivate and further develop our passion for playing the alphorn.
The trio consists of three dedicated members: Anna Rudolf von Rohr, who serves as director, as well as Urs Keigel and Regina Lüdin. Together, we form a harmonious team that prioritizes the joy of music and playing together. In recent years, we have celebrated some remarkable successes. We achieved the highest possible grade (1) at the Swiss Yodeling Festival in Zug, the Yodeling Festival in Zurzach, and the Yodeling Festival in Langnau. These awards are not only a confirmation of our musical abilities but also an incentive to continue rehearsing and performing with enthusiasm and dedication. Another important aspect of our work is the development of young talent. We are convinced that supporting young musicians is crucial for the future of alphorn music. Therefore, we are actively committed to recruiting new musicians and giving them the opportunity to learn to play the alphorn and become integrated into our community. Through workshops and joint rehearsals, we aim to awaken and foster interest in this traditional form of music.

We are visibly happy that we, with the Alphorn Trio bim Gogel, achieved 3rd place at the Alphorn Blowing Competition of the Northwest Switzerland Alphorn Association!
Our next performance: Spontaneous, somewhere at the edge of the forest.

The Alphorn Trio bim Gogel consists of the two alphorn players Anna Rudolf von Rohr, Regina Lüdin and Urs Keigel.
We enjoy being able to say with a smile, "That's beautiful!" after a performance.
