Another top mark at the Swiss Federal Yodel Festival in Basel
The Trio Alphorn bim Gogel once again impressively demonstrated its skills at the Swiss Federal Yodel Festival in Basel. With the alphorn piece “Vo de blaue Jurabärgä” by Robert Körnli, the trio earned the top mark of 1.
The challenging piece was performed with great confidence, musical sensitivity and expressive flair. The joy of making music was evident throughout and impressed both the jury and the audience.
The performance took place at the alphorn venue in the atmospheric courtyard of Leonhard School. Despite the extreme heat, the lovingly decorated space, with straw bales, flowers and traditional milk churns, provided a beautiful setting for the alphorn performances.
The many listeners gave the trio an enthusiastic round of applause. The accomplished performance, precise interpretation and evident joy in playing made it a special experience.

Top marks again at the yodel festival in Altstätten
The Castellgrande competition on September 6–7 in Bellinzona is already behind us. At the festival, Alphorn bim Gogel, together with Anna, Regina and Urs, enjoyed an unforgettable experience: the alphorn competition at the castle, our trio performance and Anna’s solo, wonderful music, delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Thank you for the excellent organization and all the musical highlights. If we can, we’ll be back in Bellinzona in 2026.
The Trio Alphorn bim Gogel once again achieved excellent results at the yodel festival in Altstätten. Anna Rudolf von Rohr, Regina Lüdin and Urs Keigel received the top mark of 1 for their alphorn piece “Von St. Antoni.”
Anna Rudolf von Rohr and Borloz Christopher also earned the top mark of 1 with the premiere of “Späretweg,” composed by Borloz Christopher.
Regina Lüdin, performing “Am Seebärgsee,” a work by Schmid Lukas, and Urs Keigel, performing “Sehnsucht nach dä Berge” by Eugen Fenner, both received the good mark of 2.

Success at the yodel festival in Reigoldswil: Alphorntrio bim Gogel once again awarded top mark 1
The Alphorntrio bim Gogel, consisting of Anna Rudolf von Rohr, Regina Lüdin and Urs Keigel, once again earned the top mark of 1 at this year’s yodel festival in Reigoldswil. Their impressive performance of “Von St. Antoni” was highly praised, earning them the highest rating.
We are proud to have confirmed our achievement once again and are delighted with this fantastic result. We love playing the alphorn as a trio and sharing musical highlights together. This success motivates us to continue performing with passion and dedication!
Alphorn bim Gogel
The Alphorntrio Gogel was founded in 2020 and has since become a well-established group in alphorn music. The name “Gogel” refers to a picturesque viewpoint above Hemmiken in Baselland, which is also where we rehearse. We meet here regularly to nurture and develop our passion for playing the alphorn.
The trio consists of three dedicated members: Anna Rudolf von Rohr, who leads the group, along with Urs Keigel and Regina Lüdin. Together, we are a close-knit team that puts the joy of music and making music together first.Over the past few years, we have celebrated some notable successes. We earned the top mark of 1 at the Swiss Federal Yodel Festival in Zug, the yodel festival in Zurzach and the yodel festival in Langnau. These awards not only recognize our musical ability, but also inspire us to keep rehearsing and performing with enthusiasm and dedication.Another important part of what we do is supporting the next generation. We believe that encouraging young talent is essential to the future of alphorn music. That’s why we actively work to welcome new musicians and give them the opportunity to learn to play the alphorn and become part of our community. Through workshops and group rehearsals, we aim to spark and nurture interest in this traditional musical form.
We’re delighted to have taken third place at the Alphorn Association of Northwestern Switzerland’s alphorn competition with Alphorntrio bim Gogel!
